Foi assinado na tarde de sexta-feira, 27, a cedência de um terreno para a Associação Esportiva União Riograndina de Futsal (URF). A área é localizada no interior do Camping Municipal, no balneário Cassino. O projeto, que será desenvolvido nas futuras instalações, tem como objetivo incluir crianças no meio esportivo através da formação de atletas em várias áreas do desporto.


“Trata-se de um projeto desenvolvido desde 2019 e trouxemos ao prefeito a nossa ideia de ter um espaço para desenvolvê-lo. Hoje com a assinatura ganhamos a permissão de construir o nosso centro esportivo, onde daremos seguimento ao trabalho com mais qualidade e em um espaço melhor”, diz o diretor da URF, Marcos Aquino.


De acordo com o superintendente de Esportes da Secretaria de Cultura, Deivid Pereira, a assinatura do acordo é uma vitória do esporte riograndino. “O ginásio que será construído nesse espaço vai contribuir muito, vai ser um espaço que possibilitará não só a prática mas também a disputa de competições ligadas ao futsal” afirma.
